The Lady in the Van wins NODA award
Guildburys are delighted to announce that our 2017 production of ‘The Lady in the Van’ has been awarded a NODA accolade of excellence. In her citation for the award, NODA district representative Pauline Surrey said:
‘A hard choice, as your other productions were also great, but I was SO impressed by Diane Nichols, whose performance as the Lady surpassed even that of Maggie Smith in the film, in my humble opinion. Far more nuanced. If there were a Best Actress Award, Diane would have got it, no doubt about that! The two Alan’s were also magnificent – an acting Tour de Force!
So congratulations to Eddie Woolrich and the whole team involved!’
