The Comedy of Errors – Double the Mischief, Twice the Mayhem! 🎭
Step back in time to a golden era of slapstick, seaside sunshine, and spectacular confusion. In July 2027, Shakespeare’s funniest farce hits Merrist Wood and the Cornish coast in a brand-new, open-air production of The Comedy of Errors. Set against the nostalgic backdrop of a vintage seaside promenade, this seaside spectacular reimagines the Bard’s classic tale of separated twins through the lens of early Hollywood silent cinema. Watch the chaos unfold on our boardwalk as two pairs of identical twins disrupt a sleepy coastal town. One Chaplin looks exactly like the other, and a pair of Keatons are causing double the trouble! Expect flying custard pies, dizzying physical stunts, and breathless chases in this high-energy, family-friendly romp.
Pack your picnic, grab your deckchair, and prepare for a wave of pure theatrical joy under the stars. It is Shakespeare as you have never seen it before: Silent era style, loud with laughter. Twin-tastic Chaos: Double trouble. A punchy, high energy night out!
