Everyman Directed by Ian Nichols
One of our earliest plays, ‘Everyman’, is here sharply zapped into the present. This stunning adaptation by former Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy was hailed at its National Theatre premier in 2015 for its sparkle, boldness and wit. It retains the original framework but with edgy and dark comedy, Carol Ann Duffy’s adaptation is racy, uber modern and high octane. It contains spicy language and there are references to party drugs.
