Ayckbourn’s Ten Times Table. April 30 – May 3 2014
Guildburys pulled off a sell out success at The Electric Theatre, Guildford with their production of ‘Ten Times Table’, by the master of comedy, Alan Ayckbourn.
With a delightful array of zany characters – at least one of whom you will have met, and all of whom you will recognise, it performed to packed houses. Ray Dixon is the all round enthusiastic ‘nice chap’ who chairs the committee from hell as they attempt to organise a pageant to celebrate a local historical event; regretfully, push comes to shove as arguments ensure that it turns into a fete worse than death.
A superbly talented cast performed to capacity houses and gained fantastic reviews for this sell out show.
Sardines magazine Review
‘Ten Times Table by Alan Ayckbourn and performed by Guildbury’s Theatre Company was absolutely lovely. I laughed all the way through and enjoyed every minute of it.’
‘All of the actors were superb, line perfect, great characterisation and even better comic timing’
‘In conclusion, another triumph for Guildbury’s, expertly led by Director Gilly Fick, who can certainly class this as a complete success.’
