Anne Boleyn at Guildburys’ Surrey Picnic Theatres from 11 – 14 July & 25 – 28 July 2018

The perfect accompaniment to a summer evening in the beautiful surroundings of Guildburys’ Picnic Theatres in Farnham and Guildford.

Premiered at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and from the pen of Howard Brenton, arguably one of Britain’s greatest living playwrights, this is an altogether different look at the life of King Henry VIII’s most notorious wife.

Think you know Anne Boleyn? Think again ! Anne may have had more of an impact on our present day lives than we ever appreciated.

From their first meeting to her untimely end, nothing is as simple as we are led to believe. Moving effortlessly between comedy and tragedy, fear and hope, this vivid and mesmerising production is the perfect accompaniment to a summer evening picnic in the beautiful surroundings of our Surrey Picnic Theatres.

Think you know Anne Boleyn ?  Think again…..
